Chiniot is Pakistan’s city renowned for its rich heritage of woodwork for over 200 years.
Each stool takes 4-5 days of handwork:
1. Top Slab: Solid Sheesham wood slab 14″x14″ cut from single wood log – shows beautiful natural grain. Edges hand-carved with floral border. Thickness 1.2 inches – solid enough to stand on.
2. Leg Carving: 4 solid Sheesham legs, each 18″ high, hand-carved with Mughal floral motifs. Legs joined to top with traditional mortise-tenon joints with wooden dowels – no nails, never wobbles. This is why our stool can hold 150KG.
3. Polishing: 7-layer high-gloss lacquer – available in Natural Sheesham, Dark Walnut, Golden Teak, Distressed White. Smooth finish – comfortable to sit even without cushion.
